History

The Glasgow Distillery is one of Scotland’s first licensed distillers, founded in Dundashill in 1770. It remained active until its closure at the start of the 20th century. Redemption was on the cards, and in 2014 The Glasgow Distillery Company re-opened. In doing so, it became the first single malt whisky distillery in Glasgow for over 100 years. The distillery is not open for tours. In our eyes, is can claim its right to be Glaswegian in nature. Designed on being the best there can be without fuss or pomp, these expressions are the sign of a brand that is on the path to success.
