About Ledaig

Produced at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull for six months of the year, Ledaig is the smokier sister of Tobermory whisky. It is heavily peated with 30-40ppm of phenol, resulting in a robust expression full of sweet smoke and earthy notes.

About Ledaig

Established in 1798, Tobermory distillery is situated in the heart of the Hebridean capital of the Isle of Mull. Ledaig was in fact the original name for the distillery, when it was founded in the Ledaig area of Mull by John Sinclair. The brand itself was founded in 2007, when Burn Stewart Distillers rejuvenated the original name with a heavily peated 10-year-old expression, after buying the distillery in 1993.
