The Paragon of Time series showcases the oldest and rarest expressions ever released by The Singleton of Dufftown. The much anticipated second release of these expressions is this exceptional 54-year-old whisky - a harmonious collaboration between the skilled craftsmanship of the past and the current modern finishing processes of today. The resulting liquid is a layered, balanced and decadently rich single malt. This is a time capsule through the art of whisky making and one to be appreciated and savoured by any whisky lover.
The Singleton 54 Year Old has spent over half a decade in European oak barrels since its creation in 1966, before being treated to an extra maturation in a single Pedro Ximénez-seasoned cask to finish. Bottled at 44.1% ABV and limited to only 235 bottles, it is extremely rare to find any whisky of this age - a true collectors item.
