This Australian single malt is distilled at Starward in Melbourne and matured in casks that have previously held Australian red wine. These casks arrive from the winery ready for use without any charring before the whisky is filled to them, giving a rich red wine influence.
The nose is bursting with red berries and fruit and nut chocolate. The palate brings sweet notes of honey and more red fruits with cinnamon spice and nuts. The finish is long and luxurious with notes of toffee and walnut.
