This whisky is as rare as can be. It is the very first cask that the Oxford Artisan Distillery has filled. A chance to be part of an exciting new distillery's history. A batch of 189 well sought-after bottles, this is a single grain whisky made from corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. A clean 50% abv, this expression was aged for three years before being given a finish in a Sauternes cask. It is part of the Home Nations Series.
Expect bright, fruity sweetness on the nose, with orchard fruits, rye, and oily malt. The palate is herbaceous, with a balance of citrus, rich digestive biscuit and honeyed sultanas. A long, buttery finish awaits, in a splendid overall dram.
