A limited-edition 12-year-old from Tobermory that was distilled and filled into whisky refill hogsheads in October 2007 for 8 years, before being transferred into Port Pipes in June 2016 for a further 4 years. Just 3101 bottles have been produced, all at a cask strength of 58.6% ABV and without chill-filtration or added colouring.
The nose has a kick of spice straight away, followed by liquorice, sweet citrus and pears, with a hint of coffee. The palate is rich and sweet, with Turkish delight, orchard fruits, rich oak and creamy caramel with hints of exotic spice. The spice lingers alongside a long and sweet finish.
