This American rye whiskey has been specially selected and bottled for The Whisky Shop as an exclusive for our customers. Produced by the Vermont farm distillery that aims for 'Triple Terroir' – where whiskey is distilled using the farm's own grain, water and custom Vermont white oak casks – this expression was matured in cask #72177 in Warehouse 1, Rick E, Level 2 before bottling at a natural barrel proof of 55.7% abv. Aged 10 years old, this exclusive is limited to just 130 bottles.
The nose has soft caramel notes combined with hints of dark fruits and candyfloss. The palate has huge treacle notes, with rich, melted dark chocolate, delicate spice, bakewell tart and ripe figs – a must-have for any sweet tooth! The finish combines a delicate sweetness with a touch of peppermint and Christmas pudding.
