The Woodford Reserve Aged Cask Rye and New Cask Rye are two 100% rye expresssions, sold together to demonstrate how different characteristics can be created by Master Distiller, Chris Morris.

The Aged Cask is "grain forward" and is matured in used barrels, leaving the grassy, citrus, peppery rye grain character to shine through.

The New Cask is "barrel forward" and is matured in brand new barrels, adding bags of oak and spice character.
