About Eagle Rare
Eagle Rare has a top secret mash bill, and completes its maturation in new American oak barrels with an ‘alligator char’. There are three expressions in the range: Eagle Rare 10 Year, Eagle Rare 17 Year and Double Eagle Very Rare – which is aged for 20 years and presented in a crystal decanter and a silver box which lights up when opened.
Originally crafted by the grand nephew of Jim Beam, Charles Beam.
Eagle Rare is the only bourbon to win the double gold medal five times at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Eagle Rare can fetch exceptional amounts at auction.
