Christoffer Hällström

Based in Glasgow, Christoffer leads The Whisky Shop Auctions. He is bi-lingual Swedish. Having been at the forefront of one of the earliest ‘new-age’ online whisky auction sites, Christoffer brings knowledge and experience of this relatively new industry. He, himself, is an enthusiastic collector and possesses considerable knowledge of auction items and values.

Briony Turner

Briony joined The Whisky Shop in 2013, working in the Glasgow shop for six years growing her whisky knowledge before becoming part of the Auctions team from its inception in 2019. Since then, she has helped Auctions grow and has been a key contact for our sellers, buyers and shops for all things Auctions.

Graeme Maxwell

Graeme’s whisky journey began in 2007 when he joined an independent whisky retailer where he spent 10 years absorbing knowledge about the spirit. He then made the move into the auction sector, spending five years leading the whisky department in a traditional auction house before joining our team in January 2022.

Neil Jamieson

Based in Glasgow, Neil has worked in the specialist whisky sector for more than 12 years. He works closely with the top brand owners in procuring limited edition releases for customers around the world. He has intimate knowledge of every release that has occurred in the past 10 years and is probably one of the world’s best judges of value.

Darren Leitch

Based in Edinburgh, Darren has been advising customers of The Whisky Shop on rare and collectable whiskies for more than 20 years. He has excellent connections with distillers and collectors and an encyclopaedic knowledge of specialist brands and limited releases.

Johan van der Wal

Based in Oban, Johan is bi-lingual Dutch. He has been in the specialist sector for five years and is an enthusiastic collector, purveyor and drinker of Islay Single malts. He is also a member of the World Championship winning Inveraray & District Pipe Band.

Phil Dwyer

Based in Manchester, Phil is one of the most prominent YouTube whisky vloggers in the UK. His knowledge of new releases and specialist whiskies is exceptional. More recently Phil has been part of a team selecting exclusive casks for The Whisky Shop.

Alan Robertson

Based in London, Alan is himself a serious collector and the Manager of The Whisky Shop branch in Piccadilly where he looks after a growing network of international top end collectors. He has intimate knowledge and experience of buying and selling rare Scotch and international whiskies.

Imogen Choinet Bankier

Based in France, Imogen is Directrice of The Whisky Shop, Paris. Following a successful career as a British Olympic badminton player, she has worked with us in a number of important roles for over seven years. She has key relationships with European distributors and is an expert in Japanese Whiskies. She is bi-lingual French.
