Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask Description
This Speyside single malt from The Macallan is matured in a combination of sherry seasoned American and European oak casks. The American oak casks are produced to The Macallan's exacting standards in the US and transported to Jerez, Spain, where they are seasoned with sherry, before making the trip to Speyside to be used for maturation. First released in 2016, this expression is matured for at least 12 years before bottling. Back to top
