Distilled at one of the youngest distilleries in Japan, Chichibu was founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto and has been operational since 2008, being the first new distillery in Japan since 1973. This whisky was released specially as part of the Glover Collection for the Whisky Festival 2024 in Tokyo. This expression was distilled in 2016 and was put down to mature in a single new barrel for 7 years. Part of a limited release of 192 bottles, it has been bottled at a strength of 59% abv.
