Distilled at Islay's Bruichladdich distillery, Jim McEwan was inspired by the Island's wild seas and stormy coasts and produced waves with a contrast of casks and medium and light peat. This expression has been matured for seven years in a combination of bourbon & Madeira casks to give the contrast within the whisky. Bottled free from chill filtration at a strength of 46% abv.
