Glengoyne Teapot Dram Batch #1 Description
Up until the 1970s, the distillery workers of Glengoyne distillery were given three drams a day: one in the morning, one at lunch, and one during an afternoon break. However, some of the men who couldn't stomach whisky would sneakily pour their drams into the copper teapot in the distillery's canteen - which of course would allow others to help themselves to an additional dram during the day!
Exclusive to the distillery, The Teapot Dram has been created by the distillery encapsulate those days gone by. It has been bottled at cask strength of 59.3% abv and is free from chill-filtration. Back to top
