King of Scots Rare Extra Old Description
King of Scots blended Scotch was first introduced to the market in 1886. Produced by Douglas Laing & Co., independent bottler and blender, this expression dates from the 1980s. While the King of Scots blend is still blended to the original Victorian recipe, this 'Rare Extra Old' variant presented in a handsome decanter is no longer available. With a high proportion of malt whisky in the blend, this Scotch is bottled at a strength of 43% abv. Back to top
