King George IV Description
This blended Scotch whisky was produced by The Distillers Agency Limited of South Queensferry, an arm of the Distillers Company Limited operated as a separate company. The blend was introduced in the late Victorian era and survived until the 1970s. Taking its name from the monarch who introduced licensed distilling, the blend was crafted with "the finest Highland malts and other Scotch whisky matured in seasoned wood" and was intended predominantly for export.
