Distilled at Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, Port Charlotte is the range of heavily peated whiskies they produce with this one being created using 100% Islay barley from the Dunlossit, Kilchiaran and Sunderland farms. This Islay barley release was laid down to mature in 2011 for six years in a combination of American whiskey casks and wine casks which previously held Syrah & Figero wines before being bottled at a strength of 50% abv.
