Black & White 1960s Description

Black & White is a blended Scotch produced by James Buchanan & Co. of Glasgow & London, now owned by Diageo. The blend was originally named 'Buchanan’s House of Commons Finest Old Highland whisky' before it became known by its distinctive bottle colours. Its two Highland terrier mascots, Blackie and Whitie, began to feature heavily in the advertising of the brand from as early as the 1920s While no longer produced for the UK market, the blend is still sold in the millions worldwide. This is a bottling from the 1960s. Back to top
