Old Forester 1870 Original Batch Description
Distilled at Old Forester distillery in Louiseville, Kentucky, they have been in production since 1870 with this expression being the first in the Old Forester Whiskey Row series. To create the 1870, they select and use barrels from three warehouses which are from different productions dates, cask entry strength and different ages. Once they have selected the barrels, they are married together, with minimal filtration, to create this bourbon which they bottle at 45% abv. Back to top
