J.J. Corry The Gael Batch #1 Description
J.J. Corry was whisky bonder on the West Coast of Ireland in the 1890s who got whiskey made at a local distillery before taking it home to mature in casks which were specially selected. Chapel Gate whiskey bonders have decided to bring back his way of making whiskey on their family farm in County Clare on the West Coast of Ireland. The Gael is the first batch and is created by blending seven year old grain whisky along with single malts ranging in age from 11-26 years old before there being only 7,000 bottles produced at 46% abv.
