Distilled at the Starward distillery which is located in Melbourne, Australia which is in the slightly cooler climate which is well suited to whisky production. Having been double distilled using Australian malted barley, this expression was laid down to mature exclusively in red wine barrels from the Yarra Valley & Barossa Valley namely using shiraz, pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon barrels for maturation.
