Arran Quarter Cask The Bothy Description
Distilled at the Arran distillery at Lochranza in the north of the island, this single malt is matured for seven years in first fill ex-bourbon barrels before spending a further two years in quarter casks, holding just 125 litres. These smaller cask allow for more interaction between the whisky and the wood, giving a more intense maturation. Bottled at 56.2% abv, this expression joined the Arran core range in 2019 with refreshed packaging. Back to top
