Distilled at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky, this release has been produced as part of their experimental collection range of bottlings they have released. Distilled in early 1998, this 'experiment' was to look at how the air drying time of barrel staves affects the bourbon's flavour and for this release they have dried them for 6 months. This expression was laid down to mature 15 years in charred white oak barrels before being bottled in late 2013 at a strength of 45% abv. Back to top
