Dewar's 18 Year Old The Vintage Description
Dewar's founder, John Dewar, started with a wine and spirit shop which he opened in 1846 on the high street of Perth. In the 1860's he began the blending of whiskies and when he passed in 1880 the business was passed down to his sons. Over the years, they have released many blended whiskies and this particular expression has Aberfeldy at the heart of the blend. This particular release is a blend of various Scottish grain and malt whiskies which which have been matured for at least 18 years before being married together and bottled at 40% abv. Back to top
