The Anchor Distilling Company was established in 1993 by Fritz Maytag, the same beverage visionary who sparked the craft beer movement with his purchase of Anchor Brewing in 1965. Distilled in San Francisco Old Potrero is their flagship American whisky, returning to the old practice of copper pot still distillation. This expression is crafted from 100% Rye malt, racked to toasted American oak barrels before being transferred and finished in port barrels. Back to top
