Distilled in Guyana, Diamond rum is produced by Demerara Distillers Ltd. and this release has been bottled by independent bottlers The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This expression was distilled in 2003 and has spent 17 years maturing in oak casks, initially in an ex-bourbon barrel for nine years, before being transferred to a second fill heavily charred barrel. One of a limited release of 180 bottles, this rum has been bottled at a strength of 58.8% abv. under the name "Charismatic Funk". Back to top
