Distilled at the Balvenie distillery in Speyside, the Tun 1509 series follows the hugely successful Tun 1401 series. Produced from a much bigger vatting of casks, this expression has been created using 10 sherry butts, 7 sherry hogsheads and 4 American oak barrels. These have been combined, and left to mature as one for a few months before bottling. Back to top
