Distilled on the Isle of Skye at Talisker distillery, this is the second release in the distillery's Bodega series and is the oldest whisky released commercially from Talisker to date. This expression was distilled in 1978 and was put down to mature in oak for 41 years. Initially it has been put into refill American oak barrels, before being transferred for finishing to Manzanilla sherry casks from Delgado Zuleta. Part of a limited release of 2,000 bottles, this whisky has been bottled at a strength of 50.7% abv. Back to top
