Glasgow Distillery Co. 1770 Release No.1 Description
Distilled at the Glasgow Distillery in Hillington, the distillery was opened up in 2014 by Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall when they started production of Makar gin. Laying down their first casks in 2015, the first release of 1770 came out in 2018. Which has been matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks along with virgin oak casks. The distillery produce both peated and unpeated whiskies and are looking at using various different cask types. Back to top
