The Ichiro's malt brand is produced by Venture Whisky and is named after the founder, Ichiro Akuto. Venture Whisky was established in 2004 when Ichiro had acquired the remaining stocks from the dismantled Hanyu distillery and he later opened Chichibu distillery in 2008. This particular expression has been created using various whiskies which have been sourced from distilleries internationally alongside some Chichibu single malt and has been bottled at 50.5% abv.
