The Akkeshi distillery was began production in 2016 replicating distilling methods similar to that of the Islay distilleries, and using equipment produced by Forsyth's. The Shusho blended whisky is the 14th release in the 24 Season series from Akkeshi. It has been matured for an undisclosed length of time in oak casks and bottled at a strength of 48% abv.
