Karuizawa 2000 Single Cask #7377 Description
Karuizawa distillery was founded in 1955 where the distillery was 850m above sea level making it the highest in Japan. It was then, unfortunately, mothballed in 2000, with it later being completely demolished in 2016. This expression was distilled in 2000 and matured for almost two decades in a single sherry cask before being bottled at 61.6% abv. Back to top
