Distilled at one of the youngest distilleries in Japan, Chichibu was founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto and has been operational since 2008, being the first new distillery in Japan since 1973. This release forms part of a trio Japanese single malts specially released as part of the Glover collection for the Japanese Festival 2022. This expression was distilled in 2014 and was put down to mature in a single third fill bourbon barrel for 7 years. Part of a limited release of 215 bottles, this whisky was bottled at a cask strength of 60% abv. Back to top
