A.H. Hirsch 1974 16 Year Old Reserve Description
A legendary bourbon described by American whiskey writer Charles Cowdery as one of the "best whiskeys I've ever tasted". This bottle comes from a 400 barrel batch was Commissioned by Adolph Hirsch and distilled in the Spring of 1974 at Bomberger's distillery in Pennsylvania (the original producers of Michter's whisky). This distillery closed in 1989, but this batch was brought to Kentucky for final aging and bottling. Part of a limited release, this whiskey was bottled at a strength of 45.8% abv. Back to top
