Whyte and Mackay 1966 40 Year Old Original Description
This blended Scotch was produced by Glasgow based whisky firm Whyte & Mackay, it was the first blended whisky that founders Charles MacKay & James Whyte produced and it proved hugely popular in many English speaking countries across the world as well as in the UK. This expression has married together malt and grain whiskies which were distilled in 1966 and matured for over 40 year in oak casks, before 1,000 bottles were produced at a strength of 45% abv.
