John Crabbie & Co. 2019 3 Year Old Chain Pier Description
The Chain Pier distillery in Edinburgh was owned by Halewood Artisanal Spirits, and was an experimental distillery which was only operational for one year between 2018 and 2019 whilst they were waiting for the larger Bonnington distillery to be completed. This whisky is the inaugural release which was was laid down to mature in a single American virgin oak cask in January 2019. Just 234 bottles were then drawn from the cask in January 2022 at a strength of 57% abv. Back to top
