Produced at the WhistlePig distillery based in Vermont, this expression is part of the Boss Hog series and is the seventh edition. It is a straight rye whiskey which has been matured for an undisclosed period of time. It was initially laid down in American oak casks before spending a period finishing in a combination of Spanish oak and South American teakwood.
