Lochlea Ploughing Edition First Crop Description
This is the second of the seasonal releases from the Lochlea distillery, located on the Lochlea farm in Ayrshire which once was home to Scots poet, Robert Burns. The Ploughing Edition is the fourth release of from the First Crop series. It has been matured in a combination of ex-Islay whisky barrels and peated quarter casks, before the it was then bottled at 46% abv. into bottles which feature tractor marks all around the bottle, inspired by those seen around the distillery.
