Octomore 2017 5 Year Old 14.3 Description
Distilled on the Isle of Islay at Bruichladdich distillery, Octomore is the name given to the super heavily peated range they produce. This expression was distilled in 2017 using barley grown on Octomore farm, that has been peated to 214.2ppm. The spirit was then put down to mature in a combination of first fill American whiskey casks and second fill ex-wine oak casks. Part of a limited edition release, this whisky has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 61.4% abv. Back to top
