International Whisk(e)y Day
Raise a dram, raise spirits, raise awareness
We're donating £1 for every bottle sold from our International Whisk(e)y Day selection to Parkinson's UK via Work for Good.
International Whisk(e)y Day was founded in memory of renowned whisky writer Michael Jackson who passed away in 2007 after suffering from Parkinson's for at least 10 years.
Around 145,000 people live with Parkinson’s in the UK and every hour, two more people are diagnosed. Your support will help the charity to fund innovative research to find a cure and support those living with Parkinson's.Find out more
Celebrate International Whisk(e)y Day with some of our favourite whiskies from around the world.
International Whisk(e)y Day takes place on 27th March every year in celebration of our favourite spirit, encompassing Scotch, Irish, American, Japanese and all world whiskies.
The festival was launched in 2009 in remembrance of renowned writer and journalist Michael Jackson, author of the seminal Malt Whisky Companion, who suffered from Parkinson's disease before his death in 2007. As part of the festivities, participants are encouraged to raise a glass in celebration, drink whisky for the love of the drink and support Parkinson's disease research.
