International Whisk(e)y Day
Celebrate International Whisk(e)y Day with some of our favourite whiskies from around the world.
International Whisk(e)y Day takes place on 27th March every year in celebration of our favourite spirit, encompassing Scotch, Irish, American, Japanese and all world whiskies.
The festival was launched in 2009 in remembrance of renowned writer and journalist Michael Jackson, author of the seminal Malt Whisky Companion, who suffered from Parkinson's disease before his death in 2007. As part of the festivities, participants are encouraged to raise a glass in celebration, drink whisky for the love of the drink and support Parkinson's disease research.
