How To Make Sugar Syrup
Sugar syrup is a key ingredient in many a cocktail; it is a simple way to sweeten your drink. An important tool in the bartenders arsenal. It's also tremendously easy to make your own at home.
Keep it in your fridge, and break it out for use in your next cocktail evening. This recipe makes 100ml, and is good for a whole month.
Pour 200g of white caster sugar into a saucepan.
Add 100ml of water and stir over a low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Allow to cool and transfer to a sterilised receptacle.
