Golden Dram: Loch Lomond
The grand Highland expression has been matured to perfection in their finest American oak barrels for over two decades, before bottling at 46% abv. Expect flavours of vanilla fudge, peaches and pears, intertwined with delicate peat and lingering oak.
Loch Lomond is a distillery truly like no other in Scotland. Eight whiskies are produced at the distillery, and each expression in the award-winning Loch Lomond range is matured in casks crafted and maintained at the on-site cooperage. The distillery produces vast amounts of grain whisky, as well as malt whisky - the only distillery in Scotland to do so. They are known for fruity, peaty and malty flavours.

Loch Lomond Cooper's Collection
Distilled using 100% malted barley in Loch Lomond’s bespoke all copper construction, Continuous “Coffey” still, Master Blender Michael Henry has carefully selected some of these older whiskies in the warehouse, and lovingly finished them in rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks. They were carefully constructed by Loch Lomond's dedicated team of Coopers. Bottled at 50% abv, and free from chill filtration.
Expect floral aromas, with hints of blackcurrant and charred oak, leading to a plate full of sweet spice, apple, sandalwood and honey flavours. The finish is long and dry, with a warming spicy oak note.
Loch Lomond Distiller's Choice
Distilled using 100% malted barley in Loch Lomond’s bespoke all copper construction, Continuous “Coffey” still, Master Blender Michael Henry has carefully selected some of the older whiskies in Loch Lomond’s warehouse, and married them together with some more vibrant liquids to produce a expression with fantastic contrasting character. Matured in a combination of both first fill and refill American Oak casks, and bottled at 48.8% abv. Free from chill filtration.
Expect fruity and floral aromas of rose, violet, peach and blackcurrant, along with tart fruit flavours on the palate, with blackberry and green apple and hints of honey and golden barley. A long finish of vanilla fudge and warming cinnamon spice.
