Yamazaki 18 Years Old Wins Supreme Champion Spirit at 2025 International Spirits Challenge

The House of Suntory’s Yamazaki Single Malt Whisky 18 Years Old has been named Supreme Champion Spirit at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) 2025, marking the third consecutive year the Yamazaki brand has won the competition’s highest honour. In recognition of this incredible accolade the Yamazaki 18 now available for £500 for a limited time only.
Following previous victories by Yamazaki 25 Years Old in 2023 and Yamazaki 12 Years Old in 2024, this achievement makes Yamazaki the first brand in ISC history to claim the top title three years in a row.
Accepting the award in London, Suntory’s Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo and The House of Suntory President Masaki “Mory” Morimoto said the recognition reflects the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and kaizen, or continuous improvement.
Judges described Yamazaki 18 Years Old as “wonderfully well-aged, perfectly rounded, and a lovely whisky.” Suntory also received Producer of the Year (Japanese Whisky) for the sixth consecutive year, reinforcing its leadership in the global whisky industry.
