❤️LOVE Whisky - Exeter Recommends❤️

Our team in The Whisky Shop Exeter are next in line to put forward their most-loved dram, and they've chosen Glen Garioch Founder's Reserve.
❤️LOVE Glen Garioch❤️
Tucked away in the charming market town of Oldmeldrum, just outside Aberdeen, Glen Garioch has been quietly getting on with the serious business of making exceptional whisky since 1797. One of Scotland's oldest working distilleries, the name is pronounced "Geery", as any Doric-speaking local will happily tell you.
Affectionately known as the Granary of Aberdeenshire, Glen Garioch doesn't court the limelight. It never has. Produced in small, careful batches, this is a whisky that rewards those who seek it out rather than chasing after them. For those who appreciate a proper Highland malt, Glen Garioch delivers a robustly malty character, gentle honeyed sweetness and a wonderfully creamy finish that lingers.

The quintessential Glen Garioch, the Founder's Reserve celebrates the Manson brothers who first established the distillery and the 200 plus years of craftsmanship that goes into every bottle that bears the Manson name. The spirit, with its robust yet smooth, velvety texture and fruity, vanilla notes, is well worth experiencing. Like the 12 year old, the non chill filtered Founder's Reserve is the perfect accompaniment to hard cheese.

❤️LOVE our Exeter Store❤️
Our Exeter store is set in the historic building best recognised as the historic 'Mol's coffee house'. First constructed in the 16th century to house priests it has since been home to galleries, stationers, jewellers and gift shops. Its incarnatin as Mol's coffee house happened in around 1726, but is still often and affectionately referred to by that name today!
