We are very excited to reveal our allocation of the much sought-after The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary releases. We have one bottle of Decade Two and Decade Five for our ballot.

The range consists of six bottles to represent six decades, with each design encapsulating that particular era of Bond. The expression is the same across all bottlings, and has been developed by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker, Kirsteen Campbell, to reflect the character of James Bond. A robust force of nature defined by his Scottish heritage, Bond shares many a quality with The Macallan. Bottled at 43.7% abv.

Tasting Notes:

Expect aromas of zesty lemons and limes, with sherbet, vanilla, coconut and dried fruits. The palate is full of orange sherbet, oak, and a hint of ginger spice before evolving with flavours of dark chocolate, apple pie and honey drizzle. The finish is sweet and long, with complex layers.

Decade Two:

Celebrating Roger Moore's incarnation of Bond, the bottling is adorned with with sketches and storyboards from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Stromborg’s Atlantis marine research lab, and various space station concepts from Moonraker (1979).

Decade Five:

The fifth bottling has a design harking back to early Daniel Craig Bond - featuring the exciting car sequence from Casino Royale (2006), and a digitally sketched rooftop chase in Quantum Of Solace (2008).
