Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Distillery II marks a bold new chapter in Japan’s modern whisky story. Distillation at Chichibu takes place in direct-fired stills, with fermentation carried out in French oak vessels, resulting in a distinctive depth and texture. This liquid was matured for between four and five years in a selection of casks, primarily ex-bourbon barrels, and captures the character and promise of the new distillery’s house style. Bottled at a robust 55.5% ABV, it delivers a beautifully rich and complex dram. The nose opens with sweet notes of vanilla and caramel, laced with gentle peat smoke and roasted orchard fruits. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
