This Highland single malt has been distilled at Knockdhu using barley peated to 40ppm. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels before receiving a second maturation in sherry casks, this limited edition expression has been bottled at 46% and released to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Knockdhu distillery – home of anCnoc whisky.
The nose has smoked oak and cured meats. The palate brings sweet caramel and toasted oak with a slight medicinal aspect, before a long and rich finish with notes of raisin and wood smoke.
