Legend has it that a devil once visited Bowmore’s Round Church, a building with no corners, leaving nowhere to hide.
The devil fled through the village and into the distillery. The distillery was searched, but as legend goes, the devil escaped in a cask of Bowmore bound for the mainland. Lingering, perhaps, in the wood, and shaping what was to follow.
First released over a decade ago, The Devil’s Casks revealed a darker, richer dimension of Bowmore. Now, the story continues.

This small batch release revisits that unmistakable series. A whisky of heightened intensity – it is bold in character and unmistakable in presence.
Aged 10 Years
Matured in first-fill oloroso sherry casks with a Pedro Ximénez cask finish, creating a whisky of dark colour and devilish depth.
FIENDISHLY STRONG
Presented at 56.6% vol. Hints of fruitcake, tarry cocoa and dark fruits. Bold, expressive and unmistakably Bowmore, with something a little darker at its heart.
