This Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain distillery has breathed the briny coastal air of the Sound of Islay for more than 14,000 days. Distilled in 1980, the liquid was first matured in Oloroso sherry casks before being transferred to sweet Canasta sherry oak. Only 1,200 bottles have been produced, each one at a cask strength of 49.5% abv and housed in a beautiful wooden presentation case with a quilted leather interior.There's rich oak, dried fruits, figs, raisins and sultanas on the nose, all balanced with rich treacle, dark chocolate and vanilla. The palate has more rich oak, treacle and dried fruits, with black coffee and cocoa alongside roasted nuts and a touch of coastal brine. Choose our Reduce & Recycle service during checkout to remove any unwanted gift cartons, tubes or boxes, from your order. We'll send them to be recycled and you'll save paper, carbon emissions and time at the recycling centre!

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
