This single malt Irish whiskey is distilled at Northern Ireland's Bushmills, claimed to be the world's oldest licensed distillery. This 16-year-old is matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon seasoned casks for just over 15 years before being finished in port pipes for nine months.
The nose is floral with currant jam and a touch of vanilla spice. The palate is rich and juicy with cherries, dried fruits and sweet toffee. The finish is long and rich with dark chocolate and almond notes.
